12-How have you progressed over the years ?

52 week challenge- Week 1 (April 10-16)

Okay hope its alright I start the 52 week challenge.  I thought for the first weeks theme we could do WEATHER since we live in Utah and its "spring" and mother nature gets confused lol.  We have nice and sunny one day, a thunderstorm the next, windy as heck, then snow.....  Possibly back to warm eventually. Haha

So for this challenge no real guidelines, can be of nature itself or you can have a subject in the photo.

  One of my plants outside is starting too bloom and today its all rainy so I thought I'd capture some rain drops on the petals.  Looks refreshing lol.   {Brittany}

a boudoir RAW file for some editing fun...

This was a boudoir session I did with my cousin just for fun. I thought it would be fun to play around with something different. Can't wait to see what you come up with! http://www.mediafire.com/?ctvz7ew7bb64gvy

Gorgeous Photo.  Here's my edit.

I first slightly cropped and rotated image. Then used portraiture by Imagenomic to soften skin and just make her complexion flawless. Used smart sharpen tool in CS5 too sharpen her eye's. Just increased contrast a bit, then added a grunge image on top of the original photo and blended them together using the multiply option at about 65%.

I love you edit I was debating muted color or b/w I went with the b/w
Recovered some details in Raw mode
Enhanced contrast, soften skin and gave a warmer look
converted to black white and added a simple background to wall for an extra touch
